Strip Meditation, Poems by Richard Martin, 2009

1

Chair of time
Dream hair reported to civilian authorities
Blue laced with gray
By the time the lagoon shrank
Invariably specialty drinks
Under an umbrella of black silk

Refreshment fantasy
Prism of pelicans in tight formation
Mushroom of remembered sky
Under the influence we played all day
Light the chauffeur for your immense
& pleasant beauty
